Jonathan wrote the Fiddley Foodle Bird, which was produced as a 13 part Animated Musical for the BBC. Jonathan co wrote the scripts and composed the music for this very successful series. The story begins just before Christmas when one of Santa's Gnomes decides to make a new type of toy he has seen in an ancient book, a strange looking creature, called The Fiddley Foodle Bird.
